Because of the individuality of each white cedar log, no two pieces are alike. While we offer standard designs as represented in the Showroom, it is our great pleasure to custom design and build white cedar log furniture to your specifications, needs and desires. White cedar, a tree which is native to Minnesota, is reasonably light weight, low in shrinkage, and durable. It is pleasantly aromatic, and has a fine uniform texture. When white cedar is used for inside furniture, we  prefer not to use wood stains. This log  Furniture is made without altering the natural shape of the log used in the construction. In most cases, only the bark has been removed, leaving knots, curves, worm tracks and other natural variances in the wood. The furniture made in this line is generally slightly larger in diameter and less uniform than other lines because it hasn’t been machined as much as the other lines on our site. Because they are slightly larger, they are also slightly heavier as well.  The polymer resins (equal to 50 coats of lacquer) and special lacquers bring out the beautiful natural colors that are hidden in the white cedar. When used outside, this Cedar Log Furniture naturally resists weather, insects and has a life expectancy of 20 to 25 years. To extend the life of your outdoor furniture, treat with a quality product that you would use on a log home. This Log Furniture will probably last your lifetime; if cared for properly, our furniture may also last your grandchildren a lifetime.
